About Trixie

Trixie came to us from Fedwell Farms after her rescuer and the Director passed away. She's currently seeking a comfortable home where she can feel safe and loved. While Trixie tolerates the other dogs in her current environment, she prefers the company of respectful senior dogs and doesn't necessarily want to socialize with them. She's obedient and low-energy, showing sweet affection and a great temperament. Trixie enjoys her quiet moments, happily lying at your feet while you work. Walking her is a pleasure; she may pull a bit but is easy to correct and does wonderfully on a leash. In short bursts, Trixie shows a playful side, especially with her rubber balls and big, soft chew toys, and she even adores swimming! Though she needs a little time to get used to men, she warms up quickly and is excellent with both adults and children.
