A victor in a challenge or game is the winner, the conqueror! We have a darling boy named Victor who isn’t interested in winning anything other than the title of “next dog to leave the shelter” or conquering anything other than your heart! Here’s what one volunteer had to say: “Oh my goodness! Victor is a spectacular pup!! He was super friendly when I met him for the first time today in his kennel. I tossed a treat in and was easily able to enter and leash him up. He’s a strong, excited guy and we enjoyed a brisk walk. He is so curious about the big wide world, sniffing and smelling and bouncing all along our way! We stopped in the grass for a few minutes and he showed me that not only does he know “sit,” but he is 'ambipawtrous’ and can shake with both paws! We came back and played in a play yard for a little bit and while he loved to chase the ball, he hasn't quite gotten the return part yet. He’s so funny and is a high energy, lovable, playful boy. He was feeling hot after our walk and so he went and lay down in the water trough, enjoying the water and cooling off. I sat down on a bench and he came over next to me and cuddled up by my side, rubbing against my legs, but had very nice manners and did not jump on me. He laid down on the ground and enjoyed belly rubs. He is a super fun boy!” Victor is a day trip all-star with an A+ rating- he’s sociable and fun, does well in the car, likes to be outdoors, loves toys, loves to play in the water and seems to be housetrained. He’s been described as a happy, playful, curious, loving, gentle boy. “We walked Victor frequently and each walk was his favorite; he loved to go outside and run. He was very energetic at first but once he calmed down, he was very mellow, slept through the night and even cuddled! Very good dog anyone would want. He will get attached and follow you everywhere.” Victor shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
