About Bogey
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Bogey was surrendered by his lifelong owners due to his Addison’s disease and previously unmanaged seizures. Despite these health challenges, his owners described him as a loving and perfect companion. Bogey has done wonderfully with children and is friendly with both small and large dogs. He is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and relishes hikes and long walks on the beach! Regarding his medical needs, Bogey is now on twice-daily seizure medication and takes medication for Addison’s Disease daily and monthly. Addison’s is a hormonal imbalance that will be with him for life and requires consistent management, as stress can worsen his symptoms. Bogey cannot thrive in a shelter environment, so an adopter or foster able to maintain his medication regime will be essential. To help with the transition, adopters or fosters will receive 30 days of his medications. Come meet this wonderful dog and see if you’re the right home to give him a loving future.
