About Pandora
Pandora came to the shelter wary of people, unsure about leashes, and frightened by the unfamiliar. In her foster home, though, she's learned quickly. Almost immediately housebroken, she picked up routines and gets along well with the other family dogs. She still prefers being leashed at her special spot, but once geared up, Pandora loves her walks and clearly looks forward to them. Most of the day, she’s content nestled on the couch or chair, occasionally chewing on a toy or heading outside for a break. While she’s still shy—especially with people standing—she’ll approach for treats when someone is sitting down and often settles nearby for TV or to sleep on the bed. She’s starting to show more interest in gentle affection, sidling up when things feel safe. Quiet most of the time, Pandora will bark if she hears something noteworthy and sometimes howls her opinions in classic husky style. Even in her timidness, there’s playful energy below the surface, and she might thrive with a dog friend who wants to show her the ropes. Pandora rides well in the car and is ready to find a calm home with patient adopters. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
