About Lyla

Lyla is a sweet 9-year-old Chihuahua mix who recently found herself in need of a new home after her previous owners moved. This petite girl has a unique black and white coat, accented by tan eyebrows and big upright ears. Though she is mostly blind now, she sees shadows and uses her other senses brilliantly to navigate the world around her. Currently at Cobb Animal Services, Lyla weighs about 11 pounds and deserves more than a kennel; she longs for a cozy home where she can feel safe. She has a strong bond with her best friend, Lincoln, and we truly hope they can find a forever family together. Lyla is house trained, friendly with dogs, and good with children. With a gentle routine and Lincoln by her side, sheโ€™s already adapting quite well to her new reality. While she cannot be spayed at the shelter due to her age, spaying is not a requirement for adoption. If her new family wishes to have her spayed, it can be arranged with a veterinarian. This loving companion is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Come meet Lyla in kennel 300. Your new best friend is just one click away!
