About Bodie

🩵 Meet Bodie — From a Dark Ditch to a Second Chance 🩵 Bodie, a petite guy not quite a year and a half old, has a heart full of love. He was recently rescued from a deep, dark ditch in Hartford, Connecticut, where he was found skinny, dirty, and desperately crying for help. The experience left him in rough shape, but thanks to the caring volunteers at ARF, he found warmth, food, and the attention he deserved. Initially, Bodie faced concerns about his vision, with dilated pupils and an unusual reaction to light. However, after receiving proper care, he’s shown signs of recovery and is not blind, as once feared. With a fresh start, Bodie has transformed into an affectionate little feline, eager to soak up all the love available. He thrives on human interaction, and after so many hardships, he’s determined to make up for lost time. While Bodie needs to be the only cat in the household to truly shine, he is open to the idea of having a friendly dog companion given proper introductions. He enjoys observing dogs from the safety of the catio at ARF, indicating he might just surprise everyone with a new friendship. Bodie dreams of a full, loving home where he’ll never again doubt his place or existence. He’s craving warmth and safety — a family to call his own. Will you be the person who gives him the happy ending he deserves? 🩵🐾 Bodie at a glance: Not quite 1.5 years old • Male • Neutered • Affectionate • Best as the only cat • May be open to a friendly dog with proper introductions.
