Nemo is a large, male domestic short hair with a striking orange and white coat. He is house trained, spayed, and up to date with vaccinations. This adult cat is FIV+, which makes him a bit more vulnerable, but he is ready to find his forever home in New Britain, CT. Although Nemo hasn’t been weighed recently, he is known for his playful and affectionate nature.

About Nemo

Meet Nemo, a charming and resilient boy who simply exudes charisma with his adorable head tilt. Rescued over two years ago, he has blossomed from a rough start into a total lovebug who adores human companionship and playful moments. Nemo welcomes affection from everyone, often offering gentle nudges and deep purrs to show his appreciation. This playful feline thrives on daily playtime, especially with his favorite fluffy worm toy. After a spirited session filled with zoomies, he loves to curl up nearby, content to hold paws while he drifts off to sleep. Nemo’s unique head tilt and slightly wonky ear come from previous surgery that treated an ear infection and inner ear polyp. Although he is half-deaf and a tad off-balance, this doesn't slow him down — he can still hear you before your feet hit the floor! Nemo does have some food insecurity due to his past, so he needs consistent mealtimes and should be fed separately from other pets, as free-feeding makes him uneasy. Despite his earlier struggles, he has shown remarkable growth in foster care, coexisting with a friendly kitty and gaining confidence. Now ready for a cozy and stable home, Nemo is an FIV+ cat, which means his immune system is slightly weaker than average. With regular vet care and love, he can lead a long, happy life.
