Meeka is a smart, playful, and affectionate girl eager to find a loving home. She's great with other dogs, especially those who match her energy. Meeka would thrive in a home with dog-savvy kids who respect her space and allow her to adjust at her own pace. She's crate-trained and ready to learn, but will benefit from some basic training to become a fantastic companion. Initially shy, Meeka takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but with patience and kindness, her sweet nature shines through. Found wandering the streets of Texas alongside another dog, Meesa, she now seeks a secure environment where she can truly thrive. Until she feels safe, having her on a slip lead in a fenced yard is a good precaution against potential wandering. Once Meeka trusts you, she will reward you with loyalty and love, making her a wonderful addition to any family. Meeka will arrive in Minnesota on 11/6/2026 and needs to be picked up from Ruff Start Rescue in Princeton, MN between 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Please plan accordingly for her arrival.
