About Norse Arriving D
Norse is a sweet, gentle 9-year-old gentleman ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. He came to rescue after being found on the streets of Houston, Texas, alongside roughly 40 other dogs. While his past is a mystery, we know this handsome senior deserves a chance at love, comfort, and security in a home. So far, Norse has been quiet, calm, and easygoing. He's a bit shy and nervous, but observant and attentive to those around him. As he settles in, we're excited to see his personality really come out. Norse has a low energy level and prefers a slower pace. He's been very quiet in his kennel, suggesting he enjoys a relaxed atmosphere. With time, he may enjoy leisurely walks, relaxing with his people, or even some playtime. We believe a home with another friendly, confident dog would be great for him, helping to boost his confidence and comfort. A calm canine companion who respects his space would be ideal. He has met children in his foster home without any signs of aggression, but due to his nervous nature, we recommend older, dog-savvy kids. Norse needs a little patience as he learns that the world can be a safe place. He deserves the opportunity to settle in and show his true personality at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs, a friendly canine companion, and some extra love to give, Norse could be the perfect addition to your family!
