About Sir Pistachio Longshanks
Meet Sir Pistachio Longshanks, affectionately known as Chio, your next loyal companion! At eight years old, this charming Chihuahua mix tips the scales at just under eight pounds and sports the endearing long legs reminiscent of a miniature Shiba Inu. Chio is all about making friends, and it seems everyone he encounters fits that description. As a lap dog, he loves being held but is also curious about the world around him. Getting the perfect photo might be tricky; he's always distracted by his surroundings and ready to explore. Chio is quite comfortable in a crate and does well on a leash. So far, he's shown he can be quiet and gets along with other dogs, though he prefers those who approach him gently. While he hasn't been tested with cats, we believe older, respectful children would suit him just fine. Chio's journey brought him to our shelter after being confiscated by animal control. Though we don’t know his past, we’re dedicated to his future happiness. He came in with another dog named Titan, and while they aren’t bonded, they can be adopted together. This little guy may not enjoy vet visits, but outside of that, he's a total joy to meet. A mix of lap cuddles and adventure awaits him in the right home. If you think you can offer him the love he deserves, consider applying to adopt Sir Pistachio Longshanks today!
