About Chaparrito
Chaparrito, affectionately known as Chapa, is a one-year-old Staffie mix weighing about 50 lbs, ready to find his forever home. He displays a delightful mix of cleverness and playfulness, making training an engaging experience thanks to his food motivation. Chapa is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on his preventive medications. Currently, he is being fostered in Mooresville, NC, but he can be transported to an approved adopter. Chapa thrives on morning playtime and has a soft side, often snuggling with his people when he winds down. He's crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash without pulling, showing friendliness towards other dogs. He has a preference for female dogs and would benefit from slow introductions to new male companions. Chapa's social skills extend to kids as well, but older, dog-savvy children would be ideal given his playful nature. He has shown some signs of separation anxiety when crated, but can comfortably stay alone for about four hours. If you're prepared to provide a supportive and understanding environment as he adjusts, Chapa will bring joy and affection into your life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
