About Charlie

Charlie is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a laid-back personality and a heart full of love. This friendly dog enjoys simply being with his people, whether that means relaxing at home or going for a nice walk. His time in foster care has allowed him to grow in confidence, and it's been delightful to see his true personality start to shine. He’s house trained, crate trained, and appreciates a steady routine. Charlie is currently refining his leash manners, making great strides with positive reinforcement. He gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly and properly, but his compatibility with cats remains unknown. Charlie is undergoing treatment for heartworm, and if adopted during this time, Sloan & Finn Animal Rescue will continue to support his healing. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. In a patient home, Charlie would flourish, giving him the time he needs to feel secure and develop trust. Once settled, he becomes a loyal and affectionate companion eager to be part of family life. If you’re searching for a calm, easygoing dog to embark on life’s adventures with, Charlie might just be the right match for you.
