About Tahoe
Tahoe is everyone's best friend! This boy thrives on attention and radiates loyalty and charm. He joined us when his former owner became incarcerated, but he’s ready for a fresh start in a loving home. With an estimated birth date of December 3, 2025, Tahoe is about 11 months old and weighs around 55 pounds. His temperament balances medium energy; he enjoys playtime and also loves to nestle in for a cozy nap. Suspected to be a mix of German Shepherd and Pit Bull, he hopes to capture your heart. Tahoe gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently shares his foster home with two large breed females, engaging in playful antics. He’s polite with cats too, having lived with them for most of his life, and he doesn’t seem to bother them at all. Social and sweet, Tahoe adores people, interacting well with both men and women. He’s lived with children aged six and above, thriving in their company and even joining them at sports events with ease. Cuddly by nature, he loves to snuggle on the couch or anywhere you’ll let him. He sleeps peacefully in his dog bed next to his foster parents and shows excellent potty habits. Tahoe is also treat motivated and eager to learn, demonstrating his skills with commands like “sit.” He rides well in the car, jumps in without hesitation, and is getting used to his crate, though he may whine for a short bit before settling. Tahoe will be neutered on October 26 and is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin, or Portland.
