Mogi
AvailableMogi is an eight-year-old, tricolor (brown, black, and white) German Shepherd Dog based in Tigard, OR. As an adult, medium-sized, neutered male, he faces ongoing medical needs. Vaccinations are up to date, and his gentle temperament has been noted by staff. His patchy coat and physical challenges show he could use some dedicated care and comfort.
About Mogi
Mogi’s body shows everything he’s been through. Eight years old and underweight, his skin is raw and uncomfortable, evidence of chronic infections that have worn him down. His patchy coat hints at a lifetime of discomfort, while his eyes—red and turned inward—speak of constant irritation. His ears are tender and there’s a large mass on his chest, all enough to make anyone realize how little care he’s received. And yet, Mogi greets people with the softest spirit. No growl, no bark, no hint of aggression. Just an older shepherd mix standing quietly, a little stiff and unsure, wearing a green jacket that looks both hopeful and fragile. He takes treats gently. He lets staff touch him, never snapping, never shrinking away. Cautious and clearly overwhelmed, he stands by waiting for someone who will finally notice him for the dog he is underneath it all. Mogi is a February Aquarius, which means he’s quietly independent and resilient. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
