Meet sweet Mindy! This lovely girl is around 6 years old and weighs 61 lbs. Life hasn’t been easy for her; when Lab Rescue OK volunteers found her at a shelter, she was shy and timid. Mindy faced a tough situation due to some physical challenges. She is vision-impaired in her left eye and once suffered a broken left leg, likely from being hit by a car without receiving the care she needed. Despite these setbacks, Mindy doesn’t let anything keep her down. She walks gracefully on a leash, plays and wrestles with other dogs like a champ, and prances around the house with confidence. Her zest for life is contagious, perhaps because she knows she’s found a safe and loving environment to thrive in. Mindy is both house-trained and crate-trained.
