About Lexi

Lexi is searching for a patient and experienced adopter who understands the needs of a shy dog. She does best in a quiet home, ideally with another dog for companionship. After an early adoption with little socialization, Lexi is timid with new people but really blossoms once she trusts someone. She completed the Mabel Basset 6-week training program, where she impressed everyone, especially the founder who called her a favorite. Lexi now knows several commands and succeeded at warming up to her handler. While she still requires a gentle, understanding home, she’ll form a deep bond with the person willing to invest in her. Lexi is middle-aged and just wants a place to settle in and love her human as much as she’s loved herself. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
