About Betty

Meet Betty, a charming 14-15 month old Black Labrador Retriever. She and her sisters came into the rescue earlier this year and have been discovering the joys of a loving home. Initially timid, Betty thrives in a patient environment. She's a bit more independent than her siblings, but her sweetness shines through as she learns to embrace her new life. Betty loves outdoor activities, especially running and playing in water during visits to "the farm". She's getting better at her potty training trips outside, which is a great achievement. Fully vaccinated and spayed, she's also heartworm negative and on preventative care. Betty plays well with both dogs and cats, making her a good fit for a multi-pet household. She enjoys splashing in the wading pool and engaging with toys, typical of her playful breed. While sheโ€™s ready for all the fun you can offer, it's important to note that Betty would thrive with an experienced pet owner who understands her need for patience. You can meet Betty in South Mississippi, and we offer virtual Meet 'n Greets for out-of-town adopters. Letโ€™s get started on your adoption journey!
