About Elara

Meet Elara! This lovely canine weighs 11.5 lbs and is estimated to be around 3-4 years old. She's the perfect portable size, resembling a papillon/terrier mix, noted for her gorgeous long hair and elongated body typical of that breed. Currently, Elara is fostered with multiple dogs and gets along splendidly with each of them. She’s also shown wonderful behavior with every human she's encountered. While we haven’t seen her with young children, her gentle demeanor suggests she'd likely fit in well. Adaptable and easygoing, Elara has quickly settled into her foster environment. Her backstory is touching; found alongside her son, who has already been adopted, Elara was tied up on her owner’s balcony until a rescuer stepped in. Thankfully, she is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready to find her forever home! **Important Note: Elara is currently in Puerto Rico but will fly to her new family once adopted.
