Residing in Cortez, CO, he is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but his affectionate nature and love for cuddles make him an ideal companion.
About Bug
Meet Bug, a small dog with a big heart and a personality to match! This affectionate little guy has never met a stranger and instantly brings enthusiasm to every encounter. Bug loves his stuffed toys, enjoys time with his dog buddies, and is always up for a good cuddle. He is friendly with dogs of all sizes and has made great strides in house trainingโno accidents reported during his last foster update. As a lovely walking companion, he stays well-behaved on the leash, whether alone or with fellow pups. Bug has also interacted positively with children, having shown friendliness to those he has met, even though he doesnโt currently live with them. However, he is still learning that cats aren't playthings; fast movements can tempt him, so a home with cats would require careful introductions and training. He can be protective of his chews, so it's best if special treats are given separately from other dogs. Bug is active and thrives on companionship, making him an ideal buddy for someone who enjoys snuggles. His new family will need to adhere to activity restrictions while he undergoes heartworm treatment, but Denkai can share more about his care needs. Are you ready to welcome Bug into your life?
