About Wendy
Wendy's next chapter starts now, and sheโs looking for a foster or adopter who can stand by her side. Having been rescued from a Houston shelter, Wendy has settled in beautifully here in Colorado. She has shown just how incredibly sweet she is, winning hearts wherever she goes. Following her spay, dental surgery, and the initial round of heartworm treatment, sheโs on the path to recovery. However, her medical journey isn't over yet. On September 1st, Wendy is set for an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) to address hip issues causing her pain. After enduring so much already, she deserves a comfortable and supportive space to heal. Thatโs where you can make a difference. Wendy needs someone who can follow her vet's recovery instructions and, more importantly, give her daily reminders of love and care. Beyond her medical needs, she is an absolute sweetheart. She gets along wonderfully with everyone, gives kisses to kids, and is great with other dogs. Of course, she would also be perfectly content ruling her castle solo. Wendy is approximately 6 years old, her spirit shining bright despite the hardships sheโs faced, including being hit by a car and carrying old BB pellets in her body. Now she just needs a caring companion to help her navigate this last big hurdle. If you have room in your heart and home for this deserving girl, consider welcoming Wendy into your life.
