About Bentley
Meet Bentley! This 5-year-old, 21-pound male Beagle was found as a stray in Kentucky and is currently awaiting a loving home in Kent, WA. Heโs been through a lot, recently treated for non-contagious demodex mange, hookworm, and whipworm, but heโs on the mend and ready to start fresh in the Pacific Northwest. Bentley is sweet and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making canine companionship essential for his comfort. He can be nervous in new or overwhelming situations, especially around children, and may cower or try to flee when scared. Therefore, a quieter, adult-only home is ideal or one with children aged 15 and older. Bentley enjoys his walks but may pull when he's curious, so gentle redirection helps him remain calm. While heโs confident meeting other dogs, he can be cautious around strangers and busy streets. Heโs currently making progress with crate training and has no issues with inappropriate chewing. Bentley is poised for a transformation into a loving companion given time and patience. If you're looking for a loyal friend who needs a little extra encouragement, Bentley could be your perfect match. Could you be the one to help Bentley feel at home?
