About Maxwell
Meet Maxwell! This sweet 18.2-pound Beagle is looking for a fresh start and a caring family. Surrendered due to his owner's health issues, he used to weigh only 10 pounds when he first began his journey. Now, at about 18.2 pounds, he needs to gain some healthy weight to feel his best. Max has a playful, fun-loving side and enjoys running around, but come cuddle time, he's happy to settle under the blankets with his favorite humans. He is neutered and gets along well with other dogs and children. However, he would do best in a home without cats. With his general vaccinations updated recently and a clean heartworm test, he's ready to embark on a new adventure. Although he's shy around men at first, he showed promise with a male transport driver, suggesting patience will bring him out of his shell. This boy has experienced a lot of change, and now he's hoping for love, playtime, and the cozy blankets he deserves. Could that be YOU?
