About Pabu
Meet Pabu! If you're looking for a dog with a cat-like demeanor, Pabu might just be your match. This 4-year-old male Shiba Inu weighs 25 pounds, and, yes, he’s a bit on the hefty side. He was a little too spoiled in his previous home, so he could use some help shedding those extra pounds for better health. Neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, Pabu is ready to settle into his next adventure. While he’s low-key and doesn’t require constant attention, he enjoys leisurely car rides and gets along well with other dogs. He’s good with cats too, often sitting on the back of the couch just like them, watching the birds outside. Pabu might not be fond of all the chaos children can bring, but he seems to be fine with older, calmer kids. With a fairly low energy level, he enjoys his strolls and simply relaxing. He’ll reward you with his adorable tricks like sit and shake. He has no aggression over food, toys, or treats, although he is a picky eater who prefers to graze. In the right home, he’d thrive, especially with other pets. If you appreciate a dog that’s easygoing and independent, Pabu could be the companion you didn’t know you needed. Vet and home checks are required. He’s located in Yorktown, VA, and will need to be adopted within a 2-hour drive radius. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
