About Meg
Meet Meg! Meg is a sweet 2-year-old Border Collie mix who will quickly make her way into your heart. She enjoys the company of people and loves her walks. Meg thrives on meeting new friends, both human and canine. She has the perfect blend of playful energy and calmness, ready for an adventure or just some downtime at your side. This well-mannered girl knows commands like sit, stay, “off,” and “no.” She walks nicely on a leash and has a tendency to stay close to her humans, avoiding stray wanderings. Meg is house trained, has excellent indoor manners, and rides beautifully in the car. Though she has a soft spot for her favorite toys, she knows what she can and cannot chew on. With other dogs, she plays nicely and keeps things friendly, even if her playmates are full of energy. While she’s learning more commands, Meg would benefit from continued training. She’s currently working on mastering “down” and “come,” and she’s adjusting to crate training. She can be a bit hesitant on hard flooring, so providing rugs makes her feel more comfortable. Curious about cats and chickens, Meg may try to surprise them when off leash. However, she responds well to “no” around them and is calmer on a leash. With time and training, she can potentially coexist with smaller animals. Overall, Meg is an affectionate companion who enjoys being around her people and settling into home life easily. Her wonderful mix of manners, affection, and playful spirit makes her an ideal addition to any routine. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
