About Cora Arriving D

Cora is ready to become someone's soul dog, overflowing with love. She has a gentle demeanor and needs a bit of time and patience to feel secure in her new home. Surrendered by a loving owner navigating a tough situation, Cora is now on the lookout for a caring environment where she can thrive. Cora gets along with other dogs, though she might be a bit unsure about how to socialize at first. Her foster family thinks she may also adapt well to living with cats, but it's still a bit of an unknown. Dog-savvy kids who respect her space would be a good match, as Cora appreciates a calm home. This sweet girl is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go out by standing by the door. She enjoys her cozy mornings and may take her time getting out of bed. Cora is a quiet pup, usually only vocal when other dogs are barking. She loves crinkle toys, Dentley's filled femur bones, and cheese—her favorite treat! Currently using her kennel as a safe place, she’s slowly learning to feel at home. Cora is looking for someone who will be patient as she adjusts. As she gets comfortable, you’ll see her true personality shine through—she’ll lean in for head scratches and gentle nuzzles. If you have a kind heart and some space for a senior pup who deserves love, Cora could be the perfect companion. She offers her love freely, just needing help to open her heart once again. *This animal is part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program, offering senior adopters a chance to adopt at a discounted fee.* Cora is coming from Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on October 24, 2026. Be prepared to pick her up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between 8:30 and 11:30 AM. She’s currently available through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt Program.
