About Mabel D

Mabel Arriving D has been on quite a journey. Rescued from the streets of Houston after suffering a fractured pelvis, she faced many challenges. Initially frightened and in pain, she slowly learned to trust with the help of gentle care and tasty rotisserie chicken. Although she may never fully recover from her injuries, Mabel is learning to walk and play, though she sometimes feels discomfort if she overexerts herself. While Mabel takes time to warm up to new people, her affection blooms beautifully with patience and love. An escape artist at heart, she needs a secure backyard. Mabel hasn’t interacted with cats or children, so she may not be suited for those homes, and she can feel overwhelmed in apartment settings. Her happiest moments are mealtime and cuddle time—she thrives on companionship and the comfort of her person. If you have the heart to give Mabel the loving home she deserves, she promises to return your affection tenfold. Her arrival in Minnesota is set for 10/10/2026, where she'll be picked up from Ruff Start Rescue in Princeton, MN. Be ready to witness the blossoming of this special little dog as she learns to embrace new experiences. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
