Chloe is a true sweetheart. After being found as a skinny stray, she’s now ready to find her forever home. Settling into her foster family, she has shown how well she gets along with kids, other dogs, and even cats. While she enjoys lounging and soaking up the atmosphere, she's eager to join in when food is involved! Chloe is still getting used to some routines, like settling into her crate, and she definitely needs guidance with leash training and basic commands like sit and stay. With a little patience, you’ll see her shine. Given her past experiences, she tends to be a bit shy with new people, but once she warms up, she loves nothing more than cuddles; she just wants someone to snuggle with. Chloe needs a cozy place where she can feel secure and loved. Currently, she is on the journey to recovery from heartworm disease, which requires some activity restrictions for a few weeks. She will be arriving from Texas to Minnesota on 10/10/2026, and you can pick her up at the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, between 8:30-11am. Adoptions will start through the Foster to Adopt program until she's fully ready for her forever home. Your chance to give Chloe the loving home she deserves is just an application away!
