About Lainey Arriving D

Meet Lainey! This lovely girl brings a big heart and an abundance of love to share. Despite a rocky start, she’s quickly learned the joys of affection, snuggles, and cozy evenings on the couch. While Lainey might feel a bit shy initially, it won’t take long before she’s sticking close by, hoping to be your new best friend. Lainey enjoys a mix of activities, from lounging and playing chase with her dog friends in the yard to relaxing on the couch. Having another dog in her forever home would be a bonus, but it’s not essential. She's generally quiet, though she might let out a little whine for attention and belly rubs, which she adores. She's good with cats and friendly with dogs, but she hasn't spent time with children yet, so it’s uncertain how she will interact with them. Birds, though, are not her favorites, so a bird-free home is ideal. Lainey is working on her leash skills and gaining confidence with crate training. She may need a little help at first, including being carried outside for potty breaks, but she's a fast learner. Lainey’s happiest moments are spent unwinding with her people, sharing belly rubs, and anticipating meal times. She’s ready to find her perfect family, bringing love and joy to your home. Lainey is currently in Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026. Please plan to pick her up from Ruff Start Rescue in Princeton, MN, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Since she hasn't arrived yet, she's available through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt program. Once she arrives, she may require further vet care, which you’ll assist with transporting her to and from.
