About Rousey Arriving D

Rousey is your quintessential Velcro dog, dedicated to being by your side through everything. Whether you’re lounging on the couch, getting ready for bed, or even stepping out for a quick bathroom break, she’s right there, ensuring you feel her love and support. Don't be surprised if she bursts into a celebratory dance when you return home; she misses you dearly! Beyond her affectionate nature, Rousey is gentle and a bit goofy, with moderate energy that makes her a delightful companion. She is friendly with other dogs, especially when approached calmly, and she walks nicely on a leash. However, Rousey can experience some separation anxiety and will thrive in a home with someone who can help her gain confidence over time. She's still working on her potty training, so a little guidance will go a long way. Rousey is looking for a home where love is abundant, even if it means a lack of personal space! If you're ready for a loyal companion who will snuggle up to you and celebrate your presence, Rousey might be the perfect fit. Rousey is currently in Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026. She must be picked up at the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, between 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Please plan accordingly, as pickups outside of this timeframe cannot be accommodated. Currently, she is available through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt Program. Rousey is undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and will need to limit her activity during recovery. Ruff Start Rescue will cover the treatment costs and provide preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and any follow-up prescriptions with their vet. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
