About Pumba Arriving D

Meet Pumba! This cheerful little guy is all about making friends and enjoying life to the fullest. He’s friendly with everyone and loves to play with other dogs, plus he gets along great with kids. While his foster parent suspects he might be good with cats, that’s still a bit of a mystery to solve. Pumba has a laid-back demeanor but don’t be fooled; he occasionally gets the zoomies and needs to burn off some energy! When he’s having fun, he’s not shy about sharing his excitement with some playful barks. One of his charming quirks is a head tilt when you call his name, as if he’s giving extra effort to understand you. He’s making strides with potty training and is on his way to becoming a well-mannered pup. However, he’s still learning and would benefit from guidance in crate training, leash walking, and basic obedience skills. With a little patience, Pumba is eager to learn! This little guy is a bundle of joy, eagerly awaiting a family that appreciates his playful spirit and affectionate personality. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s ready to engage in fun and play, Pumba might just be the perfect fit! Pumba is from Texas and will be arriving in Minnesota on 10/10/2026. He’ll need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between 8:30 and 11 am. Since he’s not here yet, he’s currently available only through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt Program. Please plan your pickup accordingly. Note that he might require further vet visits in Minnesota, and as a foster, you’ll be responsible for transporting him.
