Meet Boris! At 15 years young and a charming 8.5 pounds, he’s a tiny gentleman with a huge love for snuggles. This fluffy little guy, believed to be a Pug and Chihuahua mix, has one simple request for his forever family: hold him like a baby and shower him with affection. Boris is as easygoing as they come. He’s sweet, silly, and perfectly content curled up in your arms or by your side. When not soaking up cuddles, Boris enjoys exploring outdoor smells and happily interacts with other dogs. He’s mastered going up and down stairs and does well on a leash. There’s a lot to love about our little overachiever! Though he has a couple of medical quirks typical for his age, Boris is being cared for and continues to enjoy life. He has a collapsed trachea causing occasional coughs and a cataract in one eye being treated with drops. While recovering from a flea-related skin infection, he’s on prednisone, which helps address his itchiness. Boris thrives around people and can become anxious when left alone. His ideal family would be home most of the time, and a fenced yard would be a bonus for his sniffing adventures. His low energy means he’s more than happy just to lounge around and get love, particularly in the form of cozy holds like a newborn baby.
