About Maggie Leigh
Maggie Leigh is a gentle soul with the softest heart. At about 1.5 years old and weighing around 65 lbs, this medium to large German Shepherd blends shades of grey and white in her stunning coat. She possesses a quiet strength and affection that shines through once she feels safe with you. Initially shy around new people, Maggie blossoms into a lovebug who leans in for belly rubs and gentle pets as she builds trust. She enjoys the company of other dogs, especially during playtime at the dog park, and has shown a sweet nature that will likely extend to kids and cats with gradual introductions. This lovely girl is kennel trained and consistently behaves well in the house. She’s potty trained and knows commands like sit and down, demonstrating great recall. Although she’s working on leash manners and gaining confidence around unfamiliar dogs, her energy level is medium to low, making her an excellent companion for both walks and lounging at home. Maggie rides nicely in the car, whether in the front or comfortably in her kennel, and remains calm and quiet during trips. On walks, she stays polite and observant, rarely barking or reacting to other dogs or busy environments; just a little unsure around new canine friends, she needs a patient touch to feel safe in her surroundings. Once she trusts you, Maggie transforms into a cuddly companion who nudges for pets and curls up contentedly by your side. She’s a quiet, gentle presence who simply craves love and companionship.
