About Togo
Meet Togo! Fostered in Cedar Rapids, this striking German Shepherd/Husky mix has a story. Originally saved from a shelter euthanasia list, Togo was adopted and loved, but recently came back due to his family's move. His combination of breeds makes him smart, loyal, a bit dramatic, and unmistakably expressive. Some Malamute traits show in his calm confidence and independent spirit. Togo is large, affectionate, and eager to please. He knows basic commands like sit and down, is potty and kennel trained, and is practicing his leash manners. At his current doggy daycare, he gets along well with other dogs and is happiest with playmates—making him an ideal second dog. He’s athletic, clever, and will need supervision outside, as he’s capable of jumping a 6-foot fence if left on his own. Plenty of exercise and mental engagement are essential. Given his size and exuberant play style, a home without small children is best. Togo wants to be part of family life and thrives on attention and inclusion. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic dog who will join in all your adventures, Togo is ready to bring a lot of love and personality into your world. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
