About Teddy

Teddy is an 8-year-old brown Newfoundland with a heartwarming story. He is part of a bonded pair with his companion, Tilly, who has been his steadfast friend through tough times. Rescued from neglect, both dogs are adjusting to a loving foster environment. Teddy has a gentle disposition and enjoys snuggling close, often showing affection by burrowing his head into his loved ones. His tail wags with joy when he receives gentle belly rubs. While Tilly can be a bit skittish, she finds comfort being near Teddy and returns love with sweet, soft kisses. Teddy does have some unique challenges; he walks with an uneven gait, which may stem from a neurological condition affecting his hocks. Nevertheless, he's optimistic and has begun the journey toward better health. Once fully groomed, he will need a coat to keep warm until his fur grows back. Both dogs would likely thrive in an indoor setting with some patience and training, but they currently feel safer in a smaller outdoor space with a shared doghouse. If you're ready to give this loving pair the forever home they deserve, Teddy and Tilly are waiting for you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
