About Lucy

Meet Lucy! This delightful girl is excited to say hello to everyone in Maine and New England. She combines the best traits of Australian Shepherds and Poodles, making her a unique AussiePoodle. Lucy found herself in rescue after her previous family moved to a no-pet apartment, which must have been tough for her. Despite this challenge, she remains cheerful and social, as shown in her video. Lucy is around one year old and full of playful energy, so she’ll thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and fun activities. Weighing in at about 35 lbs, she’s a great medium size and likely to stay that way as she matures. Lucy loves other dogs and gets along well with children, making her a fantastic family companion. One thing to keep in mind is that with her long, scruffy coat, regular grooming will be important. Currently in Alabama, Lucy is set to make the journey to Maine in early November, and she’s hopeful that her new family will be ready to welcome her when she arrives. If you want to help spread the word about Lucy, please share her video, so her perfect match can find her!
