About Falkor In Maine
Falkor is an impressive mix of Labrador Retriever and Australian Shepherd, bringing together the best traits of both breeds. At 18 months old and about mid-sized, he already shows a level of emotional intelligence that's rare for his age. He’s lived in several foster homes, so there’s plenty of real insight into his personality—this isn’t guesswork. Falkor thrives when he’s involved in the day-to-day life of his people. While he happily gets along with other dogs, he genuinely prefers the company of humans and is quick to form close bonds. He’s proven himself to be respectful around adult cats, keeping a healthy distance and avoiding trouble. Around kids, Falkor is gentle and patient, making him a solid pick for families with children. Outdoors is where he’s in his element—walks, sniffing out every interesting twig, and rolling in the grass. Falkor would appreciate a fenced yard but will make the best of any outdoor space you can offer. Leash walks are another strength; he responds well to a harness. This dog is waiting to meet potential adopters in his foster home, where he’s most comfortable and relaxed. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
