About Ivy
Meet Ivy, a charming 9-year-old Shih Tzu mix. Weighing just 11 pounds, this petite girl adores cuddling and prefers being close to her people. Ivy enjoys short walks and loves car rides, making her a perfect companion for your adventures. Ivy is house-trained and knows how to signal when she needs to go outside. While she may not be into toys, her delightful habit of dancing at mealtime will surely bring a smile to your face. Having been a stray before joining Pet Haven, Ivy stayed in a safe foster environment where she was gradually introduced to other animals. She’s met dogs, although she prefers a calm household without overly energetic pups. If another dog gets pushy, she’ll voice her discomfort with a gentle growl. Her comfort level with cats hasn’t been assessed. Ivy would thrive in a quiet home and is suitable for older, gentle children aged 10 and up. She requires a fenced yard or tie-out for safe outdoor time. A standard 4-foot fence will do just fine. If you're searching for a loving companion with a knack for mealtime dance moves, Ivy may be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
