Meet Lily Rose, a 6-year-old Beagle with a gentle heart and so much love to give. Currently in a trial home in Seattle, she’s had to deal with a lot after losing her previous owner. While her trial family is wonderful, the resident dog’s playful nature isn’t the right fit for her. Lily prefers to be the only dog, as she can get cranky when her nap is interrupted by playful nudges. This sweet girl is affectionate and enjoys cuddling, especially with the 7-year-old boy in her trial home. She greets both adults and children warmly and has no crankiness towards humans, just a bit with dogs. Interestingly, she shares a peaceful coexistence with the cat in the home. Lily walks well and is curious about rabbits, which makes her a bit of a risk around other small animals. To ensure her happiness, a home where she can be the sole dog would be ideal. Her famous Beagle nose leads her to interesting areas, so a secure fence is essential; chain-link or horizontal slats won't keep her safe. While she’d be great with kids over 10, sudden awakenings might not sit well with her. Lily Rose is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
