Sentry is a 9-month-old neutered male Retriever/Pit Bull mix currently in Houston, Texas. This sweet companion weighs 55 pounds and is estimated to fill out a bit more as he continues to grow. Rescued from a rural area, he has developed into a happy, playful young dog who adores cuddling and playing with his friends. Sentry has a joyful spirit, always eager to engage with people and other dogs. He loves to play and soak up affection at every opportunity, making him a delightful addition to any family. He is house trained and behaves well in a crate. His leash skills are coming along nicely, and he travels well by car. While Sentry has lived alongside other dogs and children, he has not been directly tested with cats. However, he thrives on positive interactions and socialization, so a home with another friendly dog would be ideal for helping him grow and learn. Homes should ensure ongoing social experiences and training to support his development into a well-rounded adult dog. If you are committed to providing Sentry with love, guidance, and continued socialization, you will find an incredible companion. Sentry is ready to be your new best friend.
