About Lady in AL

Lady is truly that - a lady! This sweet, gentle Great Pyrenees embodies charm and charisma while being both dignified and easygoing. She is housebroken, leash trained, and has a low activity level with occasional bursts of medium energy. Content to be indoors, her favorite spot is wherever her family is, though she enjoys the company of her pack when they’re around. Wonderful with both people and animals, Lady gets along happily with all dogs, including a visiting 6-pound female Pomeranian with whom she loves to play. She’s friendly to everyone and has a special gentleness toward small children, including her foster’s granddaughters aged 3 years and 10 months. This affectionate dog enjoys belly rubs, lies down while eating, and crosses her paws like a true lady when she sits. Lady has a favorite stuffed squirrel she tosses around, making playtime enjoyable for her canine friends. Calm and relaxed, she prefers to sunbathe on a porch while keeping a lookout for passing happenings. Lady would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, giving her the love and companionship she craves. While she could adapt as an only dog, she would likely be happiest in a pack environment. A home with a fenced yard is desirable, but she can also be a happy leash-walk-only companion. With her gentle spirit and loving nature, Lady is eager to find a family to share her life with.
