About Eddie

Meet Eddie, an adorable Shih Tzu and Poodle mix looking for his forever home. At three years old, he's ready to embrace a life filled with love and adventure. Eddie was found in the inner city of Rochester, NY, where neglect meant he never got the attention he deserved. After a rough start in life, he’s now excited about his calm, new beginning. He loves spending time with women, so his ideal adopters are active women who can give him the exercise and care he needs. We recommend a fenced yard and, if possible, a companion dog of similar size to help him settle in. He has been neutered, is house trained, and his vaccinations are up to date. Though he’s had a bit of a rough grooming history, Eddie is adapting well and even enjoyed his first spa day. While he might take time to warm up to larger groups, he's playful and eager to find his place in a loving, supportive environment. Children and cats may not be a good fit for him, so we’d prefer a home without them. Eddie's adoption fee is waived, but we do look for homes with vet references and a commitment to providing an active lifestyle. This sweet little boy is ready to start his journey to happiness.
