This 1‑year‑old Shih†̄Tzu mix (to our best guess!) weighs about 9†̄pounds and came to us with Rex. They won’t be adopted together, so each can find their perfect match — and Tootie is ready to find hers! Tootie is a little lovebug with a big heart. She’s affectionate, playful, and loves being near her people. She did great with kids and enjoys playing with other small dogs. Big dogs can make her a little nervous at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. She’s happiest when she’s cuddled up or playing with her favorite toys. She’s crate trained and doing well with housetraining, though she’ll need a little patience and consistency as she adjusts to her new home. Tootie is learning her leash skills and improving every day. A fully fenced yard is preferred — no invisible fences — so she can safely explore and play. Tootie rides nicely in the car, loves chewies and toys, and was recently professionally groomed. She’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.
