About Jersey
Meet Jersey! This adorable male Chihuahua mix is around six months old and has playful black and white spots, weighing in at about six pounds. Jersey and his sister arrived at the shelter when their family surrendered them after an accidental litter. Thanks to Chi Town Rescue, their mama will soon be spayed, and Jersey is here looking for his forever home. Jersey is energetic and loves to explore, especially when it comes to toys. Heโs social with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with them. Meeting new people makes him a bit shy, so itโs best to get down to his level and let him approach you. Once comfortable, he relishes in lap time and gentle pets. As a puppy, Jersey will need some patience and guidance to learn good doggy manners, including leash-training and house-training. His adoption fee is sponsored and includes vaccinations, a microchip, and future neuter surgery at the PAWS clinic in Phoenix. Heโs had his first vaccinations and is set for more in two weeks, so his new family will need to avoid public spaces until heโs fully vaccinated. Interested in meeting Jersey? Email Chi Town Rescue for more details or to schedule a meet and greet!
