About Baby
Meet Baby. This beautiful 4-year-old girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She came into rescue after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Despite the changes she has faced, Baby has handled everything with remarkable sweetness and grace. Weighing in at 70 pounds, she is a big girl with an equally big heart, eager to find someone to share her life with. Shortly after arriving at the rescue, she underwent emergency spay surgery due to a serious uterine infection. Thanks to the generosity of her advocates, she received the medical care she needed and is now recovering in a loving environment. During her time with her advocates, Baby has shown herself to be a gentle and trusting companion. She is beginning to let her personality shine through as she learns that she's safe and surrounded by kind humans. Though she has previously been an only dog, Baby is displaying friendliness toward both dogs and cats in her new environment. This is a positive sign as she continues to adjust. It's heartwarming to watch her discover the simple joys of being a dog; she is learning to play with her toys and relax in her cozy surroundings. At 70 pounds, she will benefit from regular exercise and activity in her new home. Once she's fully recovered from her surgery, her family can help her gradually build up her activity level with walks, playtime, and other age-appropriate adventures. Baby doesn't need to be an athlete—just a loving family to help her stay active and engaged. Most importantly, she needs a home where she can feel secure, enjoy cozy naps, gentle affection, and plenty of love. Baby's journey may have started with heartbreak, but this chapter can be so much happier. She is ready to blossom into the playful companion she was meant to be. Seventy pounds of sweetness and a heart full of love—she's waiting for her forever home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
