Meet Luna! Luna is a lovely 6-year-old black tri-Aussie currently being fostered in West Virginia. Initially considered shy at the shelter, her true personality has shone through in her foster home. She is smart, affectionate, opinionated, and has a playful sense of humor—typical traits of her breed. Luna enjoys hiking, walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and anything that challenges her physically and mentally. While she doesn’t require constant activity, regular exercise and mental stimulation are crucial for her happiness. As a natural herder, she keeps an eye on her surroundings and can be quite assertive about managing her space. She lives with two male dogs but would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, nonreactive companion. Luna is house trained, enjoys car rides, and loves being near her humans. She's also eager to let you know when it's time to play with her favorite toy.
