About Ted

Meet Ted. Not short for Teddy or Theodore – just Ted. This vintage Basset Hound prefers the quiet of rural life and isn't too fond of city slickers or anyone who doesn’t share his passion for George Jones. Ted drives a ‘74 Chevy K10 with expired plates and maintains a no-nonsense attitude towards “new fangled” technology. His favorite movies feature Clint Eastwood, and he has two “nice” shirts bought during the Ford administration. Ted enjoys shouting at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn and takes pride in mowing it every Sunday after church. He occasionally visits the VFW for pancake breakfasts and skeet shoots when he's in a social mood. No one can grill a ribeye quite like Ted, especially when paired with a loaded baked potato. If you want to hear why your opinions might be wrong, schedule a meet and greet! He’s crated and house trained, although he does sometimes mark without a belly band. Ted loves to cuddle and enjoys cozy couch time. He’s currently in foster care in Longmont, Colorado. *Please note: we require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. We do not transport dogs.* Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
