About Brown Sugar

Meet Brown Sugar, a delightful Doberman who came to us from a North Carolina shelter where she was sadly left behind. Despite a rough start, she now thrives, thanks to her wonderful foster mom who's helped her regain her strength. At just 15 months old, Brown Sugar still has a lot of puppy energy and needs a loving family who can provide her with structure and engagement. This sweet girl is sociable and enjoys the company of other dogs. She tends to be a bit protective over her toys and food—a behavior stemming from her past experiences—so she would thrive best in a home that understands her needs. She's also fantastic with kids! While we haven’t tested her with cats yet, her friendly demeanor shines, and we have high hopes. We're looking for experienced owners, particularly those familiar with Dobermans, to welcome her into their lives. If you think you can offer Brown Sugar the loving home she deserves, please submit an application.
