Naya is a one-year-old, 37-pound mix of Golden Retriever, Heeler, and Aussie. She’s filled with sweetness and has a playful spirit. While she can be a bit shy initially, patience and kindness draw her out, revealing a loyal friend ready to bond. Her brief time in foster care has helped her make great strides in training. She enjoys soft and fluffy items, often burrowing into blankets or cuddling with cushions while watching TV. Once comfortable, Naya has a goofy, fun-loving side, thriving on playtime with her soft toys and indulging in her favorite bones and Beggin' Strips, which she takes gently. Her foster family discovered her intelligence; she quickly learned commands like come, stay, and down, making it easy for her future family to reinforce these skills. Naya has moderate energy, relishing her walks and outdoor time but also content to relax after exploring. She prefers to be near her people and is improving on her crate training. While she does well with other dogs following a proper introduction and gets along with older children, loud noises can spook her. She has even bonded with a cat during her foster stay.
