Miss Bailey
AvailableMiss Bailey is a spayed female Cocker Spaniel, approximately 10 years old. She is a medium-sized dog, but her specific weight is not available. Her charming personality shines through her friendly demeanor, and she is house trained. She requires ongoing medical support due to her blindness and is currently in Cape Coral, FL. Miss Bailey is looking for a special foster family to give her the loving home she deserves.
About Miss Bailey
Miss Bailey is seeking a forever foster home to enjoy her golden years. This sweet senior Cocker Spaniel is around 10 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. She came to rescue in rough condition with severe skin and ear infections and blindness from glaucoma and dry eye. With the care she has received, about 90% of her beautiful fur has grown back, and she’s thriving thanks to her dedicated foster mom. Miss Bailey is cuddly and friendly with everyone. She has excellent house manners, sleeps soundly at night, and walks well on a leash once she gets her bearings. She gets along with other dogs and may do well with older, dog-savvy children and possibly even cats. She is very tolerant of her medical needs and enjoys interactive puzzle treat toys. Given her blindness and some hearing impairment, she requires a patient, predictable home with minimal stairs. Using non-slip rugs will help her navigate safely. Having her food and water in consistent spots will provide her comfort in her new environment. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for her daily exploration. Miss Bailey has ongoing medical needs, including eye drops, ear care, medicated baths, and a special diet. Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue will continue to support her medical care, so all she needs is a loving, supportive home. After everything she has been through, she deserves to hear someone say, “Miss Bailey, you’re home.” If you think you could be her forever foster, please reach out!
