Luna is a 7-and-a-half-year-old cocker spaniel in Cape Coral, FL. She is an adult female with a medium build, and she is spayed and house trained. Luna does best as the only pet in a peaceful home, and is looking for an adopter who can provide the calm environment she loves.

About Luna

Luna is a sweet, 8-year-old cocker spaniel searching for a tranquil forever home. Her last family realized she wasn’t the right fit for life with a baby, so Luna arrived at the rescue ready for a new start. She’s recovered well from mammary tumor surgery and a dental, and is now ready for a quiet household where she can finally relax. Luna needs to be the only pet—other dogs, cats, and kids simply stress her out. She really thrives in peaceful homes with few visitors, and tends to stay shy with new people. Luna has great manners, is house trained, and does well in a crate. She’s easy on a leash but doesn’t want long walks—she’s happiest coming straight back inside to curl up on the sofa or bed. If you call her, she’ll roll over and present her belly for rubs, her go-to move. Luna loves watching TV, sleeping in (and snoring!), and sharing a bed with her person. She enjoys toys but tends to destroy them, and isn’t interested in balls. Food is a big motivator, but she needs chicken-free treats because of allergies, and gentle snacks work best since she’s had several teeth out. She’s looking for a calm, patient person or couple who’ll appreciate a loyal, affectionate companion for quiet evenings at home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
